A 22-year-old boy has decided to take a leap of faith(read insanity) and stop being an employee and start being an entrepreneur. I quit my job with a contractor at the first of the year and have lived on reserves ever since.

Instead of working on building a resume and applying for all kinds of jobs I have split my time between classes at a trade school and exploring less conventional ways of making money,  within the bounds of the law of course. I have an insatiable curiosity about the world of finance.

This blog is about my pilgrimage towards wealth. After a couple of months worth of study on books and blogs about entrepreneurship and related subjects I decided to gather all of my notes and put them up where enterprising individuals like myself can maybe benefit. If I succeed in the quest this blog will become a very valuable record. If not then it’s just another dream.

One of the benefits of a blog is that others can comment and share their ideas and advice. Feel free to do so. I am very aware of my ignorance. Since these are just notes and I am no English wiz, my articles or posts are pretty rough and I talk to myself. But if you don’t mind all that then buen provecho!

These are some of the books I’ve read that were helpful to me. I’ll even give my review of each and post my notes and impressions.

 Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell

The Laptop Millionaire by Mark Anastasi

Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

Focus by Stephen Covey

The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey

I highly recommend each of these books.

Hopefully the 100,000 dollar project becomes a reality.
